Review:
I know, I know, reading the title and seeing the trailer you think, Oh bloody hell not again!  Yes, again.  Hollywood has decided to make yet another Robin Hood movie, however after seeing it I can honestly say there has never been one like this.  Do not go into the movie thinking that this is the same because it really is not.  I would consider this to be a prequel..how Robin became known as a traitor and outlaw while Richard was away from England.  Although I would consider this a 'before' type movie there really is no movie available, even though we all know how many Robin Hood movies there are, to be the story that continues, however for the director and cast this posses a huge benefit as the possibilities for a sequel are limitless.  The new twist to an old legend makes for big laughs, high emotion and excellent sword fighting.  The acting, locations, props, storyline and action were all amazing and in my opinion deserve recognition at award ceremonies for this year.

Action, drama, fantasy and romantics will love this movie, however I must warn the romantics not to expect a love story like Prince of Thieves because it is nothing like that.  This movie focuses more on the characters and the storyline, with the romance kind of just happening along the way.  Be prepared for realism, which accounts for most of the violence.  Sci-fi fans will want to stay clear unless they like Robin Hood and sword fighting.
