Review:
Angel was one of the best characters in the series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in my opinion, so when I heard about his spin off it was a must see for me. I personally loved Angel's back story and this series continued his story perfectly. Cordelia, who was extremely annoying in Buffy, came into her own as Angels loyal side kick. Some one who knew his past and still decided to work for him, becoming close friends in the process. Wesley also decided to join the group, which enables him to become more than just a boring Giles wannabe. The seasons were more violent, action packed and thought out than the Buffy seasons but I feel the storylines started to drag towards the end of Season 4. Season 5 was still a great action packed series, yet again towards the end certain situations caused us all to take a step back and gasp out loud in almost horror and upset at it. Many people agree that though the series was overall amazing and very entertaining the grand finale was lacking. I have as expected brought the entire series because I love the action and storylines, but the ending always leaves me wanting more.
If you like Vampires, action in the form of sword/fist fighting and creature violence, fantasy type situations this type of series is for you. Romantics, drama and fantasy fans may like/enjoy/love these series but Sci-fi fans may want to give this series a miss.
