Starring:
Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, Denis Leary.

R - none stop action violence and strong language
Movie description:
A cop wrongly accused of murder is frozen and reanimated 40 years later to recapture an old nemisis who is terroizing the new none-physical contact, none violent world people live in.
Review:
Aside from the language this movie is one of the best for that blow-them-up type action movie we all on occasion love to watch. The R rating is not just for language and the kick butt action sequences within the first 5 mintues of the film tell you why. The storyline is basic, yet holds your interest as it contains the element of a future society that doesn't believe in any physical contact, which proves useful to the bad guy since no one gets close enough to catch him. Snipes plays one of the best villans, Phoenix, and has no trouble creating the explosive tension between his character and that of Stallone's, Spartan. The onscreen relationship between the two is incredible and the choregraphed fight scences leaving you breathless and begging for more. Bullock's character, Huxley, is the missing link between Spartan's old world and the new none violent world he wakes up in. She explains everything to both Spartan and the audience flawlessly and even adds a comedy element that is surprising and entertaining.
Great movie, but not for people who are either offended by bad language or can not handle brute violence. I hate to play the sexist card but most women may not like this movie. (Yes, I am a woman and yes I love this movie but not everyone agrees with my taste)
Thank you for reading,
